Still Filming…

 My group is just about done filming. The group members all came over again today to film more. A few more scenes were completed. There was a lot of discarded footage. Hopefully Zane has enough to begin editing now. After today, my group should only need 1-3 more days of filming. Assuming they come over again this weekend, it should be completed soon. Kevin’s birthday is this weekend though so he might not be able to film. Maybe the rest of the group will still meet this weekend. If anything, everyone can meet on Monday to finish. Zane wanted to film today but Kevin and I were already busy. I’m not sure why Kevin was busy but I know it had something to do with studying for a test. I was busy because it was opening day for the baseball season and I went to the game with my family. My family goes every year so I couldn’t skip it even if I wanted to. Zane also mentioned filming tomorrow but I already have a baseball game for school. My team was rained out at our game yesterday so my group could’ve filmed yesterday. Tomorrow the weather is supposed to be nice so the chance to film most likely won’t happen again. If all goes well, the team will come away from tomorrows game with a record of 3-9. The season hasn’t been going well but hopefully that will change soon. If everything stays as planned, my group should be finished filming by the end of the week. Once finished filming, Zane can finally finish editing and the project will be complete.

Finally Filming

  Today Zane and I finally filmed the commercial and finished it. After all the hurricane delays plus another unexpected incident, he and I finally found time to film. The gym was a bit full for a little while so it wasn't as quick as expected. There were a couple people that gave recommendations but we stuck to our storyboard. I was the actor in the commercial and Zane was the director. He took 7-21 second videos of many different workouts and picked the best few to include. A few videos were excluded because of the people in the background that did not want to be filmed. Zane filmed using his iPhone instead of a professional camera. It was easier for both of us to use his phone instead of taking the time to find a real camera. He took shots from high and low angles to capture the best views. Editing !!

 Today Zane started the editing process. After a long wait, filming is finally complete and editing can begin. He will use Adobe Editing Software for most of the editing and maybe iMovie for the rest. The editing is really easy for him and he enjoys it so I don’t have to do much editing. I’ve tried and asked but he refuses to let me touch editing because he enjoys it. He edited the last video so it was easier for him to just do this one too. When he is done, I will get opinions from other people on what to do better next time. There were new angles in this video that I would like outside opinions on. I will ask a bunch of different people to hopefully get honest opinions. Once reviewing the finally opinions, I can finalize the video for submission. Most of the editing will be done separately because it is easier that way. I cant really help a lot either way so it’s not like Zane will need me for anything.
