 TRAVIS' HOUSE - DAY 

We see a young Travis Waddle tinkering with his car in the driveway. He is a motor enthusiast, constantly working on his car and dreaming of a future in the automotive industry. 

TRAVIS (to himself) One day, I'll be working on the fastest cars in the city. 

Travis' mom, JENNIFER, comes outside. 

JENNIFER Travis, you need to come inside and finish your homework. 

TRAVIS Can't I just work on my car for a little longer? 

JENNIFER No, you need to focus on your studies. You won't get anywhere in life without an education. 

Travis rolls his eyes and reluctantly heads inside. 

INT. HIGH SCHOOL CLASSROOM - DAY 

Travis sits in class, staring out the window, daydreaming about cars. His teacher, MR. JOHNSON, notices. 

MR. JOHNSON Travis, pay attention. You won't pass this class if you keep daydreaming. 

Travis sighs and tries to focus on the lesson. 

TRAVIS' ROOM - NIGHT 

Travis is on his computer, scrolling through job postings. He comes across a posting for a job at the city's biggest race mechanic. He immediately applies, (talking to self) I am gonna be the best mechanic this world has ever seen!

Creative Critical Reflection

  The commercial for my product, Gatorade, uses convention in terms of the style of commercials filmed. In most if not all Gatorade commercials, it contains someone doing something athletic or sports related such as playing a sport or working out at the gym. This is what we used to base our commercial off of. These commercials are also normally highly energetic which we used to help pick a style of music to play in the background. This commercial also highlights athletic social groups and some of the things associated with them. It shows that Gatorade helps to decrease dehydration in these athletic groups while participating in tiring activities, such as working out.  The commercial engages audiences by not only encouraging them to buy the product, but also to participate in athletic activities, which is good for you. Finally Filming

  Today Zane and I finally filmed the commercial and finished it. After all the hurricane delays plus another unexpected incident, he and I finally found time to film. The gym was a bit full for a little while so it wasn't as quick as expected. There were a couple people that gave recommendations but we stuck to our storyboard. I was the actor in the commercial and Zane was the director. He took 7-21 second videos of many different workouts and picked the best few to include. A few videos were excluded because of the people in the background that did not want to be filmed. Zane filmed using his iPhone instead of a professional camera. It was easier for both of us to use his phone instead of taking the time to find a real camera. He took shots from high and low angles to capture the best views. Editing !!

 Today Zane started the editing process. After a long wait, filming is finally complete and editing can begin. He will use Adobe Editing Software for most of the editing and maybe iMovie for the rest. The editing is really easy for him and he enjoys it so I don’t have to do much editing. I’ve tried and asked but he refuses to let me touch editing because he enjoys it. He edited the last video so it was easier for him to just do this one too. When he is done, I will get opinions from other people on what to do better next time. There were new angles in this video that I would like outside opinions on. I will ask a bunch of different people to hopefully get honest opinions. Once reviewing the finally opinions, I can finalize the video for submission. Most of the editing will be done separately because it is easier that way. I cant really help a lot either way so it’s not like Zane will need me for anything. He said he hopes to finish early so he has time to review. I will also review it
