Short film research: Jet, Thriller Genre

The film is called "Jet". The film begins with an over-the-shoulder shot of a man in a car peering through the front windshield. In the distance, an automobile speeds up a slope. The camera pans to the side of the man's head, revealing that he intends to murder himself as he draws a handgun to his side. A little girl bounces down the street at that very moment, and the man puts the gun away in the van, pulls up, and kidnaps the daughter, making him think about what to do next. The scene then cuts to a man cautiously making his way across a woodland line, looking to see where the car had gone, and then sprinting through the trees toward the house. He stays in the bush, dashes across the front yard, and hides behind the vehicle just in time to see a man come over and take the girl out. After turning a corner, the man runs across two more men and kills them both. The man then discovers the girl seated on a stool, while the title card plays. The film excels at using noises, camera angles, and story. The absence of dialogue in the movie caught my attention right away. Additionally, there is some non-diegetic sound in the movie but no diegetic sound. To provide the audience a perspective on the setting, the movie also combines medium and long shots with a variety of close-ups to convey emotions. Furthermore, since the gun he meant to use to take his life was used to save someone else, the film's props were essential. This illustrates how the directors used payback in one particular section of the story. I enjoy how real and suspenseful the movie feels. People may more fully comprehend and become engrossed in the story because of this sense of realism. When my group and I begin our film, I believe we must include as many elements of reality as possible. This way, our film will be relatable, and our viewers will be drawn in by it. I think it is another prime example to incorporate into the story of our hiker adventure of finding the body.
