Fast and Furious 9 

      This movie has the convections of action pack car related scenes that we plan on having in our movie. With our plot being based off a mechanical life, the ability to use cars to create entertaining action scenes is important, and this movie does it very well. Some examples of conventions we like in this movie that help our specific genre are the chase scenes. In this movie, during chase scenes the editors make explosions and other crazy effects to draw the attention of the audience. Also, there is a lot of guns and violent scenes that help contribute to the genre of action. The editing of this movie makes for a very entertaining and eye-catching film. something that we saw a lot of in this movie that helped us to decide that we wanted to research it was that we found ourselves intrigued and caught on what was going on in the movie and we thought that having the ability to keep attention would be something that would help our film thrive. We enjoyed the ideas that this movie gave us to contribute to a wide variety of action scenes that we plan to have implemented in our movie. This movie gave us multiple things as listed above that can help us in creating an eye-catching film that falls under the action genre. To continue, some of the things that we didn't like from the movie conventions Were the lack of variety between the action scenes. Most of the scenes that we saw consisted of car chases and explosions with little to no variety in what we were seeing. In our movie we plan to use more of a variety of action scenes that involve cars to catch the attention of the audience. With our movie being mechanic based, we planned to have a plot that will grab the attention of the audience using things like chases and explosions with other things that would make for an interesting movie, however not just those things. Although this movie is going to be based off a mechanic it's going to have a lot of plot twists that we will use to create attention towards the audience. The conventions and codes from this movie helped us come up with ideas that could possibly contribute to the overall plot and entertainment of the movie. Overall, this was a good movie to use for convention codes and it gave us some great ideas to use for our movie/film.

The film was about a man who was simply following his daily routine and going for a run when he came across a dead body on the path. The film details the following few days in which the police are involved, the body is covered up, and the killer is exposed. The film challenged conventions by showing corruption within employment. The killer was discovered to be the very same park ranger that was alerted to the body in the first place, allowing him time to dispose and cover up his tracks before the police could investigate. Editing !!

 Today Zane started the editing process. After a long wait, filming is finally complete and editing can begin. He will use Adobe Editing Software for most of the editing and maybe iMovie for the rest. The editing is really easy for him and he enjoys it so I don’t have to do much editing. I’ve tried and asked but he refuses to let me touch editing because he enjoys it. He edited the last video so it was easier for him to just do this one too. When he is done, I will get opinions from other people on what to do better next time. There were new angles in this video that I would like outside opinions on. I will ask a bunch of different people to hopefully get honest opinions. Once reviewing the finally opinions, I can finalize the video for submission. Short film research: Jet, Thriller Genre

    The film is called "Jet". The film begins with an over-the-shoulder shot of a man in a car peering through the front windshield. In the distance, an automobile speeds up a slope. The camera pans to the side of the man's head, revealing that he intends to murder himself as he draws a handgun to his side. A little girl bounces down the street at that very moment, and the man puts the gun away in the van, pulls up, and kidnaps the daughter, making him think about what to do next. The scene then cuts to a man cautiously making his way across a woodland line, looking to see where the car had gone, and then sprinting through the trees toward the house. He stays in the bush, dashes across the front yard, and hides behind the vehicle just in time to see a man come over and take the girl out. After turning a corner, the man runs across two more men and kills them both. The man then discovers the girl seated on a stool, while the title card plays. The film excels at using noise...
